This is a ladies only group, focused on forming friendships while doing fun things. Let's go to a museum, enjoy some food and conversation, go camping, to a concert/play/show, a crazy drunken night on the town or enjoy 80s night at Metronome. We are very accepting of all of the things that make us "different". We have many ladies in different age ranges, school/career paths, family situations, etc., but we focus more on the things that we have in common rather than the things that separate us. …
There's a lack of organization in the greater Burlington area when it comes to trail running, which makes no sense. We are surrounded by beautiful trails, mountains, hills, lakes, ponds, streams, meadows, and mud puddles just asking for us to play in and around them. The Long Trail Running Club is being organized to build a community of trail lovin' runners; providing us a place to communicate, coordinate, socialize, share stories, trail and race reports, and get dirty while doing something hea …

We could talk about politics, science, spirituality, the environment, the male/female relationship, or the nature of the universe. Heck, we could even have a meaningful conversation about meaninglessness. Come join us, help us choose something fun and meaningful to talk about, and lets get in there deep over a cup of tea, or a …

Feel free to suggest something! Profile Picture credit: cooldesign
The American International Club of Vermont is being created to allow a vehicle for people with international experience to come together to socialize and network in an atmosphere that is fun, supportive and intellectually stimulating. I decided to start this group to provide an opportunity for social interaction, networking and the exchange of information between foreign professionals living in Vermont and Vermont residents who have spent part of their life living overseas. I thoroughly enjoyed …
Welcome to Burlington tennis meetup, the place to meet new tennis partners. We'll schedule a summer pic-nic or two, but don't expect that there will be many general meet-ups scheduled. Instead, contact other members directly to arrange games. When we have enough people interested in a ladder, I'll get that organized. I'm asking folks to contribute $5/yr to be a member of the group. I hope that this will dissuade those folks who sign up for half-dozen groups only never to return, and motivate …
