This group was started to find vegans and vegan wannabes in the Hudson Valley. We combine Social Events and Social Action by enjoying delicious, healthful vegan food and encouraging others to do so. The more people who choose vegan food, the fewer farmed animals will be raised. You do not have to be vegan to join, just eat like one when you are with us. We get together to learn and to inform others.

What I've found is that as we get older, it's harder to meet and make new girlfriends. So, I'm starting this meetup group to fix that. This group is a way for women to get together and just make new friends! There is almost no common social support for you and your cause.
