This group is for newbie runners or those of us trying to get back up to speed and into shape. If you want to start running, are looking to improve your time or a buddy to train for that first 5K or marathon with, then this is the group for you. Because no one gets fit on running alone, the group will also have meetups for other types of fitness events. Remeber the first step is the hardest everything after that is just details. Now let's roll!  

After looking at various groups and not seeing exactly what I was looking for I decided to create my own. I do not feel "friends" should have age, color, education, gender, religious, financial, or other types of restrictions.
